Literature Text

this is of the child:

as the sun declines its right to own the sky,
his orbits are no longer bound
by all the exits underlined;
he is off and seeing edifices ache
for a response, for just a taste.

he is off then, but the glow is brighter still
from radiating windowsills;
by the by he exits one
created luminescent town
as more enlightened buildings overrun.

as the brightness of the spires overtakes,
he delights in cherished knowledge
by the garden by the lakes;
he is often seen discoursing
with the glory of the morning.

he is off, then all the architecture ends
as sun rays over Prairies bend;
by the time the night has perished
he's peering over the window ledge
as dreamlight is replaced with sunlight garish.
